When is the Midwest Tool Expo & Auction?

Where is it held?
Michiana Event Center (MEC)
455 E Farver St
Shipshewana, IN
What does it cost to attend?
$5 Admission at the Door. The fee includes admission to the Tool Expo, the Auction, the Health & Wellness Expo, and Educational Seminars.
Parking is free.
When is the auction?
Friday, January 24: Auction begins at 3:00 PM
Saturday, Jabuary 25: Auction begins at 9:00 AM
How do I bid at the auction?
Please register for a buyer number in the hall before going into the auction arena and bidding. After you’re done bidding / buying, check out with our cashiers.
Terms: Cash or Good Check with proper ID, Visa and MasterCard accepted.
7% Indiana Sales Tax will apply. There is a 5% Convenience Fee for Credit Card Use.
I have items I want to sell in the auction. How do I go about doing that?
Have tools to sell? Consign your good, sellable tools! No junk, please!

Consignments Unloading Times:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, Jan 21 – Jan 24, 8- 4:30
Please follow the signs. There will be help available to unload your items if needed.
Need a hand transporting your consignment? Call Robert Mishler at 260.336.9750 to be placed on the pick-up route. Call by 6:00 pm Monday evening, January 20! Items will be picked up on Tuesday or Wednesday, January 21-22 only.
Consignment Terms & Commission Schedule:
Payout for consignments is within 10 working days after the auction.
- $2 or less = no payout
- $3 – $ 75 = 20%
- $76 – $400 =15%
- $401 – $ 2000 = 10%
- $2001 – 8 % with a $750 Max
Is there food available?
Yes! Breakfast, lunch and snack options are available at the snack bar areas in the Michiana Event Center.
Do I need to register to attend the free educational seminars?
You do not need to register in advance, but we do suggest arriving to the seminar’s location early to get a seat. Some of the most popular speakers are standing room only.
